The Ship

The Titanic was built by the Harland and Wolff shipyards located in Belfast, Ireland. It was the pride of the community and the men that labored over her.

Construction began on March 31, 1909 and she was launched on May 31, 1911. She was ready for her sea trials on April 1, 1912.
